Dr. Neil Rogers – Lead Physician


Dr Rogers graduated from the University of Queensland Australia in 1976 with his MB BS.

His first year residency general internship was at Mackay Queensland. He did further 6 month rotations in Internal Medicine in New Zealand; Obstetrics and Gynecology in Scotland; and Pediatrics in Yorkshire.

Dr Rogers completed his post graduate work and immigrated to Canada in 1981 where he practiced in Brandon, Manitoba form 1981 to 1985.

Dr. Rogers has practiced medicine in Kanata and Ottawa since 1985.



Dr. Laura Chow – Associate Lead Physician

Dr. Chow was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario and completed her B.Sc. in Michigan, USA. She completed both her medical degree and her family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa. After her graduation in 2007, she did locum ER and hospitalist work in various rural locations in Northern Ontario while working in a number of clinics in Ottawa.

She is very happy to have settled down and made the Heart of Ottawa Medical Centre the home for her family practice. She also continues to be involved in the teaching of Family Medicine residents at the University of Ottawa. She lives in downtown Ottawa with her husband and young twin daughters.



Dr. Marc Boisvenue


Dr. Boisvenue's joined the team in July of 2016. More information about Dr. Boisvenue will be posted soon.





 Dr. Kyle Mylrea

Dr. Mylrea was born and raised in Ottawa.  He completed a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree at Carleton University – majoring in Biochemistry and Biotechnology and graduating with Highest Honours.  He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University Medical School in 2013 (studying in England, Grenada, Canada and the United States) during which time he also obtained a Diploma of Higher Education in Medical Sciences (with Commendation) from Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.  He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan and is certified to practice Family Medicine in Canada and in the United States.

Although Dr. Mylrea has lived in and visited many places during his medical training, he is very happy to return home to Ottawa.







Dr. Brie Rosenberg


Dr Rosenberg was born and raised in St Catharines, Ontario. She studied biology at McGill University before going on to complete her medical degree at the Jagiellonian University Medical College of Krakow, Poland and family medicine residency at the University of San Diego, California.

She is happy to have returned home to Ontario, and looks forward to growing her family practice at The Heart of Ottawa Medical Centre.

Dr Rosenberg lives in Ottawa with her fiance where they enjoy being involved in the downtown community as well as many of the outdoor activities the city has to offer year round.


Dr. Sarah Saliba

Dr. Sarah Saliba was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She completed her B.Sc. (Honours) at   the University of Ottawa in 2008. She then travelled to Hamilton, Ontario to attend the medical program at McMaster University where she obtained her medical degree in 2011. She then completed her family medicine residency in the Halton program at McMaster University, working in many of the hospitals in Hamilton, Burlington, Milton and Oakville. 

After her graduation in 2013 Dr. Saliba returned to Ottawa and found the Heart of Ottawa Medical Centre where she locumed as a walk-in physician. She liked the patients and the staff at the Heart of Ottawa Medical Centre so much that she has decided to stay and build her family practice there. 




Dr. Marta Fundamenski


Dr. Marta Fundamenski was born in Poland, moved to Canada at age 4 and grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. She completed a B.Sc in Psychology at McGill University, and attended the University of Ottawa for medical school and family medicine residency. Since graduating in 2007, she has worked in clinics, ERs, inpatient units and Inner City health clinics. She completed a scholarship project on Late Effects of Childhood Cancer Survivors.

 Dr. Fundamenski was practicing as a family physician in Hamilton for five years and relocated to Ottawa for family reasons. She was delighted to join the Heart of Ottawa in September 2015 where she looks forward to building her family practice.

 She lives in central Ottawa with her husband and three young children.
